LG are not interested in OS smartphone owner, loves Android Phone and Windows 7

LG told the press that MWC will not develop its own smartphone platform "at least for the next two to three years." We believe that companies should focus on what they do well, and given our ambivalence toward the S-Class UI, it's probably a good thing that LG will restrict its operation to churning delectable slab of electronics and letting the software side for the geeks over at Google and Microsoft. The unit head of the combined company, Skott Ahn said that the future of smartphones LG will be shared between Android Phone and Windows 7 (sorry, Symbian Lovers). It took great restraint not to respond to local nemesis Samsung - which has just introduced its first handset Bada - But LG seems to believe (we share) that the sector Smartphone OS is already overcrowded, and its expectation is that over the next two years, the market will distill only two or three operating systems predominant
