[N900] Smartphone running Maemo 5

Nokia will launch shortly a new Internet Tablet N900 and named successor to the N810 model. It is also known under the code name Rover.

Powered by a TI OMAP 3430 processor clocked at 500 or 600 MHz and equipped with 1GB of RAM, it works with the mobile platform Maemo Linux 5.

The technical Announces compatibility GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WAP, UMTS, HSDPA and Wi-Fi It also mentions the presence of a chip for GPS navigation, a touch interface 3.5-inch display 65 536 colors in a resolution 800 x 480 pixels, a digital camera 5 megapixels with autofocus and dual LED flash, VGA sensor in front and a media player.

For data storage, it has 32 GB of internal memory and an expandable to 48GB with a microSDHC slot that accepts up to 16 GB Transfer occurs on him by USB Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
